Me falta meter la presentación final en procomm ELECTRICITY BASICS 2º Eso Technologies To fulfill this UD I have design some activities that will be developed over seven sessions. Knowing the electrical parameters: intensity, resistance and voltage and measurement units Identify elements of an electrical circuit Make wiring diagrams Know & perform operations with Ohm's law Know the different types of circuits: series, shunt and mixed Know the different types of materials: conductors and insulators, and the materials they are made of will be analyse along the whole didactic unit. COGNITIVE (THINKING) PROCESSES Talk with a basic vocabulary Describe what it is: power, strength, intensity, voltage, etc. Can formulate operations with Ohm's law To read and describe the various components of an electrical circuit . Recognize oral and written the names of some electrical components: switch cell or battery, bulb, drivers, etc VOCABULARY Names: electricity, circuit, conductors, insulators, resistance, current, voltage, ohm, series, shunt, etc. Verbs: be, have, move, draw, say, power, etc. Prepositions: to, from, with, from, to, etc. Adjectives possessives (my, your, his, my, your, their, etc.), adjectives (small, large, etc.) The simple relative pronouns: who, what, which, where The compounds relative pronouns: who, next to which, where etc. Seven sessions. Detail are in https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B5CRMEfWXg_4VThwbk5xNHI2OVE/view?usp=sharing Timing: seven sessions The methodology will be active and will try to engage the student; in addition, it must facilitate both individual and group learning. The methodology must be active and participatory; Further, it must facilitate both learning and the individual group. The methodology will be applied through the development of work habits, including carrying out the activities in the student book and Moodle. L1: L2 to 50%: 50% SESSION 1-REFERRAL CLASSROOM Activities to detect previous knowledge Activity 1: - Justification. The purpose of this activity is to find out what prior knowledge that a student has the general form of this teaching module to define at what level part to expose the contents are. - Details of the activity. Ask students to define in their notebooks the concepts of electricity, insulation, voltage, current, resistance, conductor, etc. issues related to electricity and its applications. Report cards will be checked by the teacher while the students are writing. - Timescale. 15 minutes. Activities Introduction and Motivation Activity 2: - Justification. The purpose is to initiate and motivate students in the study of the teaching unit. - Details of the activity. Questions to the alumni on electricity, identifying the types of circuits and materials having around, plan issues they think if certain items were not insulated, electrical hazard on, if there was no electricity, etc. They will be screened in English (L2): Ready to go: Electricity and the atoms https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EJeAuQ7pkpc How I produce electricity and electrical circuit http://www.teachingideas.co.uk/science/contents_circuits.htm http://www.learningcircuits.co.uk/flashmain.htm - Timescale. 60 minutes. Activity 3: - Justification. This activity will continue initiating and encouraging students in the study of the teaching unit. The content will be developed are also shown. - Details of the activity. Teacher Comments on the content to be developed in this teaching unit showing a concept map (using the cannon and computer) and setting examples of daily life related to electricity, so that students show curiosity and reflect on the importance of these, bringing different photographs, flash animations, etc. Then should exchange views with students on the subject. In groups of 4-5 students must analyze five photographs. They exhibit in L2 peers what they represent for them, utility, write a title for each photo, etc. It will give some expressions of support. Comunication Activities. . - Timescale. 20 minutes. SESSION 2 and 3-REFERENCE ROOM / COMPUTER Development Activities of Contents Activity 4: - Justification. This activity will begin to develop the content. - Details of the activity. Electric current, resistance, current, voltage, insulation and driver: the different concepts are explained. - Timescale. 30 minutes Activity 5: - Justification. The purpose of this activity is that students work in groups using ICT and further develop the content: elements of an electrical circuit. - Details of the activity. Proposal for conducting a group project (4 students / group). Each group will be responsible for two different elements: the generator (battery, battery, alternator, etc.), drivers, control elements (switch, switch, switch), measuring instruments (voltimeter and amperimeter), protective devices (circuit breaker fuses and circuit breakers), consumer appliances (lamp, motor, etc.), etc. It will be done with computer and contain information from various media using word processor and spreadsheet. Students must provide in L2 to the rest of the class in 8 minutes the main features and applications of these elements. The work will take place in L2 at least 10 lines, being able to incorporate all the pictures you see fit. These summaries are monitored once photocopied and distributed to all students and serve as notes theory. Blow activity of production: Test électric simple circuit, Describe two elements and operation.Activities for home: http://dcaclab.com/en/home http://www.petervaldivia.com/potatoes/conductor-and-insulators.htm - Timescale. 65 minutes. Activity 6: - Justification. The purpose of this activity is for students to identify the different elements of a circuit in L2. - Details of the activity. Upon completion of the exhibition will be held: Écrite activité of production: Redo steps to build the different electrical system one. - Timescale. 15 minutes. SESSION 4 - CLASSROOM WORKSHOP Activity 7: - Justification. This activity will continue with the development of Contents: types of circuits. - Details of the activity. Explanation of the basic types of circuits: series, parallel and mixed. www.cleo.net.uk/consultants_resources/science/circuitWorld/circuitworld.html Send activities and reading a single article in L2 technology at home. http://powerup.ukpowernetworks.co.uk/over-11.aspx. Blow understanding of activity: watch the video and fill in the holes (The series circuit). - Timescale. 35 minutes. Activity 8: - Justification. The purpose of this activity is that students master Ohm's law, relating the three variables and correctly apply the formula in different problems. - Details of the activity. An explanation of the large group of Ohm's law. Various problems will be made to clear the three electrical quantities according to data provided - Timescale. 20 minutes. SESSION 5 - COMPUTER ROOM Activity 9: - Justification. The purpose of this activity is for students with the help of ICT and working in a group, have a critical view of the electrical activity in the Balearic Island. - Details of the activity. Correct the remaining activities of the previous session and send others. In the computer room, in groups of 2 students working on a dialogue and team will analyze the web pages to be provided on companies of Balearic Islandsdedicated to the electrical industry. They indicate critically, in their books, to which different companies are involved. Activités of Blow compréhension:  The d'Ohm Law (the vidéo). Exercices https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d34-VKc2cyY  Electronic devices (vocabulary) https://es.scribd.com/doc/126952596/Glossary-Electricity - Timescale. 55 minutes. Synthesis and Transfer Activities SESSION 6 - CLASS OF REFERENCE Activity 10: - Justification. The purpose of this activity is to summarize the teaching unit. - Details of the activity. Correct the activities and review the most important contents of the subject. Students will take home a synthesis of L2 subject. Written activity of production: Electricity- Timescale. 35 minutes. Activity 11: - Justification. The purpose of this activity is to link and enter the following teaching unit with the current. - Details of the activity. To make way for the next learning unit, which are the central energy production, I will discuss the different types of energy: renewable and nonrenewable. - Timescale. 20 minutes Evaluation Activities SESSION 7 - CLASSROOM REFERENCE Activity 12: - Justification.
